Regeneration bei apikaler Parodontitis – Möglichkeiten und Grenzen der endodontischen Therapie |
|||
Samstag, 10. November 2012 Zeit: 9:30-10:00 Uhr Ort: CC, Harmonie Ebene/Etage: C2 Occasionally around the apices of endodontically involved teeth large periapical radiolucencies are seen on the radiographs indicating extensive disease. Althoug it is known that root canal treatment in many cases will result in resolution of radiolucencies, it is questionable to what extent this is occurring in large lesions and to properly differentiate diagnostically beforehand whether endodontic treatment is feasible or that other diseases have to be taken into account and where conventional root canal treatment will not suffice. Based on a case serie the various options will be discussed and the value and need of modern regeneration techniques for these cases be evaluated. |
